The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter is a service organization dedicated to providing educational programs, support services, and outreach to the community including families facing the devastation of Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders. As a chapter of the National Alzheimer's Association, we are committed to supporting its efforts in public policy, research and education. In the counties served by this chapter, the association provides: * Educational seminars for caregivers and professionals * Volunteer Opportunities * Quarterly Newsletter * Information and Referral * Information and literature about Alzheimer's Disease * Fosters the organization and activities of support groups The Alzheimer's Association offers the following support groups in Danville: VA Medical Center-1900 E. Main Street-2nd Wednesday of the month at 2:00 PM Key Club-1225 N. Jackson-3rd Thursday of the month at 3:00 PM
