A T Classified - Buy and sell used equipment on web site. CASH LOAN PROGRAM: An alternative financing program which offers individuals with disabilities and their families the opportunity to borrow money at a low interest rate with extended terms to purchase assistive technology devices, services or home modifications. DEMONSTRATION CENTER: IATP's demonstration center has eight rooms filled with assistive technology devices. Tours and demonstrations are conducted to keep people informed of the wide range of devices available. DEVICE LOAN PROGRAM: Free short term equipment loans to provide individuals an opportunity to try out equipment to assure compatibility before making a purchase, or to use as back up equipment. TELEWORK LOAN PROGRAM: A program that offers low interest loans to persons with disabilities to be used for the purpose of working from home. This low interest loan with extended terms can be used to begin, upgrade or maintain a home-based business. TRAINING: IATP offers training to consumers, family members and professionals in the following areas: *Advocacy - educating individuals on how to advocate for themselves to obtain needed products and services. *Funding - guiding individuals and organizations through the maze of funding possibilities. *Basic skills - offering training, tips and information on the wide variety of products available. *Parent Empowerment Training - providing parents the necessary skills to become effective advocates for their children in school.
