Program/Service Notes
Residential Treatment: Prairie Center's residential treatment program combines evidence based treatment including group therapy approaches and individual counseling. We recognize that persons suffering from chemical dependency may have problems in common, as well as their own unique personalities and problems that require individual attention. Self-esteem, nutrition, relapse prevention and family dynamics are included in the range of topics that encourage and reinforce positive change. Detoxification Facility: The "social setting" detox unit is a 24 hour a day short stay crisis emergency service. Medical personnel are on staff at all times to assist and supervise in the treatment of the intoxicated person who does not require hospital care.
