Healthy community initiative of Provena United Samaritans Medical Center Foundation. Promotes understanding and information about a variety of quality of life issues. Since 1997, HALO has organized the painting of over 135 homes and several park buildings in Danville, Catlin, Tilton, Georgetown, Ridge Farm and Oakwood to beautify our neighborhoods and restore pride in our fellow neighbors. This project is made possible with the help of hundreds of community volunteers from local businesses, civic groups, church groups, individuals, and vendors. HALO also needs volunteers for the "My Favorite Book" Program, the hand washing campaign, the Children's Health, Safety & Activity Fair, the Parents Aware Program, the Adopt a Spot Program, the Donate Blood Program 4 times per year and the Body Wash Program.
