SERVICES OFFERED: * Community planning, fund raising, allocations, communications and training * The United Way seeks to coordinate services in the Danville area through information and needs assessment * A variety of services are provided for the community through United Way by member agencies * Community Help Line The United Way serves as a liaison between organized labor, United Way and its agencies. The United Way carries out the training programs of the Vermilion County Federation of Labor and serves as an advocate between people in need and the social service network. ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO UNITED WAY MEMBER AGENCIES: * Fund Raising Assistance * Fund Raising Campaign Assistance * Fund Disbursement/Allocation: Allocation - Provides supplemental funds and the distribution of those funds to the 17 United Way agencies * Training: United Way provides individual or group seminars or training sessions on a variety of subject matters pertaining to human service needs.
