Program/Service Notes
Monthly distribution of food at low cost. Participants must volunteer two hours of their time each month to some community service. They can do this by volunteering to unload boxes of food from the truck, to situate the food into portions, to pass it out and to handle money. SHARE offers fresh fruits and vegetables at $9.00 a package and $15.00 a package for fresh fruits and vegetables with frozen meats. To participate in Danville's SHARE program, sign up at Holy Family Catholic Church on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM or call Charlotte Piggott at 431-1268. Upon registration participants will receive the date of distribution. Pick up is always from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Paul's School, in the gym. To be a part of the Danville-Tilton SHARE program, register at the Salvation Army, the Tilton Village Hall or the Westville Municiple Building. Upon registration participants will receive date of distribution. Pick-up is at the Tilton Village Hall. Danville - Tilton site - offers carry outs to all participants.
